Your World of Warcraft Cooking Guide

Introduction

Cooking in World of Warcraft is a great skill to learn and it does mesh well with several other professions, such as a fishing. You can actually earn a modest amount of gold with your cooking skill and you don’t have to put in a lot of effort, making it fun for players to give it a try.

In the past, most people didn’t give this profession a second thought, but with Burning Crusade and WotLK a lot more opportunities opened up. You can actually make some things that other players really need, so this is a good way to get extra gold. Click here to read more on World of Warcraft Cooking Guide

Let’s Begin

When you have started you will need a fire which needs some flints, tinder and wood. Open up your spell book to see which recipes you would like to try. Remember though that your fire won’t last long so make sure you have bought enough wood.

Once you have completed your apprenticeship, you may need to spend a little to make a little at first. But when you have achieved more quests you will have the items needed for the recipies. Making Gold by Cooking
Many think that cooking is a pretty useless skill to have but it’s what you cook that makes the difference. Focus on the ingredients that carry buff points as once you have mastered the skill you can start making these items and then selling them in the auction house . Warp burgers are good sellers at about 1 gold a peice. You can easily make 50 gold ph with this tip.

The seasons can be very important. At Xmas there will be quests that players need egg nog for and can earn 1 gold piece each making you even more gold. Click here to read more on WoW Cooking Leveling Guide

Leveling Up

Here’s a quick and easy way to progress in skill from 1 to 375. You’ll need to start in Ironforge. Buy the ingredients for making spiced bread. This is very simple and will help you advance to 40. Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to get 30 mild spices as well as some more wood. Then get to Auberdine and find a Moonkin. Keep killing it until you have around 20 eggs or more. This will take you to skill level 60.

Then head south to Ashenvale and collect clams dropped by crawlers. Cook these back at Ironforge and sell them. Find a cooking trainer and learn more skills so that you can cook the clams. By now, your skill level will be up to 130. Get the expert cookbook and you will be well on your way to getting up to 375.

Daily Cooking Quests

The new daily cooking quests are a recent introduction to the game. But you’ll need to have a cooking skill of at least 275 to take part in most of them. The good bit though is that the payback is high. To learn more click here: World of Warcraft Cooking Leveling Guide

What’s the Best Type of ISP to Use?

what is broadband

In this article I’m going to talk about a few of the differences between different choices for methods to get on the Internet.

Initially, let me explain the two main way to connect to the Internet before getting more in-depth about some of the more specific ways within these two general categories.

When looked at as basically as possible there are two general computer terms which describe differet Internet connection types: dialup and “broadband”.

Dialup is, of course, the older way to connect to the Internet, where you use a dialup modem. Dialup modems have been around far longer than most people know: I bought my first one in the mid 1980s and they were first invented in the 1960s.

It was a “1200 bps” (bps is a way to measure of speed) modem that I bought for about $200 for back then. Dialup modems capped out at 56K bps back in the late 1990s, and now sell for less than $10 if you know where to look.

Basically that’s about forty-six times faster, and 20 times less expensive.

Now you could think to yourself “Wow! That sounds really fast!”

If if you’re thinking something along those lines, you’re mistaken.

Dialup is obsolete technology, and hasn’t really been updated in over a decade, which means it’s around one hundred fifty years out of date relatively speaking!

The bottom line is, dialup is very slow.

Lots of people are stuck in the world of, either because they don’t don’t know any better, or they have no choice where they are.

However, even if you are still using dialup and are thinking “Good enough, why bother? — you’re making a mistake.

I’ll tell you why that is in a minute.

Before I do, I’m going to explain the general alternative to dialup. It’s called “broadband”, which generally just means “fast Internet”.

Broadband can be found in a variety of varieties, with a range of speeds, even the slowest way better than dialup.

Aside from way faster, broadband generally doesn’t tie up your phone line, so people you know aren’t annoyed by busy signals if they call you, and you can place phone calls even when you’re connected to the Internet.

The two main different types of broadband are cable and DSL. Cable internet comes over the same wire as cable TV, and is available from many different companies using a variety of different brand names — Roadrunner is one example of cable internet.

DSL actually comes in through your phone lines just like dialup, but it’s a lot quicker and, just like cable Internet, you can make phone calls while you’re online.

You’ve got less-common varieties like satellite, which gives you fairly fast connections to the Internet by sending the signal through a satellite dish like satellite TV. It’s slow for broadband, but lots faster than dialup. It’s mostly used by people in less developed areas who don’t have any better option.

What I tend to advise to most people who ask is to get DSL, if you are able to get it where you live. In most cases it’s only slightly pricier than dialup is, and in a lot of instances it’s the same price or even cheaper!

It’s not usually as speedy as cable Internet, but it’s still plenty fast for most people, and lets you do a lot of things that just aren’t possible (or are very very agonizingly sluggish) on dialup, for example, watching videos on YouTube or elsewhere, or downloading large files.

Which brings me to one of the most significant reasons I recommend people stop using dialup and switch to some kind of broadband — downloading large files.

You might make the mistake of thinking that you never do that, but on the other hand… Perhaps you do (or should be) and don’t realize it.

To start with, computer users are distributing big photos (or several smaller pictures), or even videosvia email all the time these days.

If you’re on dialup and you tried checking your email and it never seemed to be able to get the new messages, or it took forever to do so, you may have become a victim of this.

So that’s one reason.

But there’s an even more critical one: computers have things called “security updates” or “patches” which are absolutely important to get. It’s important for both Windows or Macintosh computers.

Unless you have these patches, your computer can be vulnerable to invasion by viruses, worms, and more.

But these security updates (think Windows Update, or OS X’s Software Update) sometimes can be very large files.

So huge that it can take many hours, or even DAYS to receive. And if you don’t download them, your computer is vulnerable.

Which leaves you between a rock and a hard place if you’re stuck using dialup.

So seriously consider about switching if you haven’t already, and tell your friends who haven’t. And remember there are lots of good sites out there that offer how to Apple and how to Windows instruction, so make sure you take advantage of them if it will help.

How Can A Data Recovery Comparison Website Be Independent?

Is it possible to compare the cost of data recovery without an initial assessment

The data recovery sector has always been a very competitive arena with companies vying for the competitive edge and employing questionable tactics to get their websites up the ranking or even clicking on competitors adwords campaigns. But the latest reported tactics seem to take the biscuit.

Cost comparison sites are springing up all over the world and to a great extent most of these will give a fair comparison of the market given any defined set of terms.

This is of course a relatively simple thing to do given that the product or service is fixed or all variations in terms are available on the main website of the companies being compared.

So how can you possible do a cost comparison website when it comes to a service without first establishing the actual problem in the first place. Also if other data recovery companies are not happy to sign up to such a service even if you could conceivably do a fair comparison, how could it it be fair if the very industry that is benig compared does not buy into the concept of services cost comparison websites, and indeed why should they?

The big loser here will of course be the customer who will no doubt be pretty desparate to find a solution and get their data back especially if it is business data or treasured family photo’s or other important information. They will be led to believe they are getting the best price based on independent data when quite the opposite is true.

Most reputable data recovery companies will of course not wish to see customers put in this situation.

Without question data recovery requirements and solutions will vary from case to case and drive to drive, and each recovery will need to take into account many other deciding factors as well that without an initial evaluation simply cannot be properly assessed.

Product comparison websites are very well suited to products for example comparing the cost of one hard drive to exactly the same drive from another supplier, but when it comes to any solution based service be it data recovery or even automobile repair, until you know the root cause of the problem it will be impossible to truly compare one business against another.

Product comparison websites of data recovery services simply will never be accurate as not enough details are known upfront and actual solutions can be too varied so these comparison sites should be avoided or taken with a big dose of salt.

Wow Leveling Guide From 0 to 80 In No Time Flat For The Alliance!

World of Warcraft is one of the greatest entertainment venues in modern Internet Gaming. However, like all massively multiplayer games, your socialization is tied to people within a few levels of your own. And if real life interferes (yeah, we know, that whole real life thing sucks), you’re left out in the cold while all your buddies have leveled up to fight bigger and badder challenges.

What you need is a WoW Leveling Guide, a tool that will give you advice on what quests to do, what items to have and how to link them together to maximize your World of Warcraft experience in the fastest way possible.

Because World of Warcraft has multiple factions, you need one for the faction you play. This Alliance World of Warcraft Leveling Guide is a book inscribed by Brian Kopp, who was playing World of Warcraft from the beta test servers and was one of the first paying customers to take a character to level 80.

Brian Kopp WoW Leveling Guide is the definitive source on how to get an Alliance character from Level 1 to Level 80 in the least time possible – he’s run tests getting a Night Elf from level 1 to level 80 in 5 and a half days of online play!

The secret is in the quests. Quests give significantly more experience points per time spent playing than simply grinding it out and killing mobs of monsters, and they’re more challenging and more fun to boot.

This questing guide that Brian has put together is built for people to SOLO quest from Level 1 to Level 80 in the quickest time possible. He’s studied all the quests and built the list of which ones to take, and which ones to avoid to give you the fastest progression possible.

He even includes maps and coordinates for you to go from one quest to another in numerical order, with a fully interactive setup, that includes a map that’s highlighted for special features of quests, so you can avoid running into blind alleys, or having to do a quest twice, because you missed something the first time around.

With the new expansion coming, you’ll want as many characters at level 80 as possible to play in Burning Crusades, which has levels running from 61 to 70. Brian is already hard at work on the Alliance World of Warcraft leveling guide for Burning Crusdades.

If you’re looking forward to building a brand new character and getting it caught up with your play group or trying to make up for lost time, the Free World of Warcraft Leveling Guide is the book you need! For the Horde Check out our WoW Horde Leveling Guide

Understanding What a ‘Driver’ Is

what driver

In this article, I’m going to explain a computer term that, like so many computer terms, isn’t very well understood by most people. And in many cases, isn’t understood at all. Maybe as a result you’ve done web searches for things like: “definition driver”, or something along those lines and wished for common-sense answers.

Of course, that’s not a criticism — if you’ve always been confused by the word, it’s simply because it was never explained to you in a simple way before.

Keep reading and you’ll be surprised how much sense it makes.

I have a simple way to explain it that will just make sense for you. Making sense of the computer term ‘driver’ can be easy with the right explanation. By the end of this article, you’ll understand it better than the average person.

First off, just to make sure we all we’re all on the same page, I’m going to just quickly take a moment to explain the difference between “hardware” and “software”.

It’s really pretty simple : “hardware” refers to all of the physical pieces of equipment, such as your mouse, your display, the hard drive, and so on.

“Software” would be all of the pieces of the computer that you really can’t observe or touch directly. Software would include things like Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer, Windows or the Mac OS, plus all of your personal files like individual emails, photos, music, and more.

Here’s how you can think about it: hardware is like your brain, a physical part of your body, while software is like your mind or your thoughts — the non-physical part of yourself.

Software runs on hardware, just like your thoughts “run on” your brain.

Make sense? OK, let’s talk more specifically about drivers.

Here’s the easy way to understand what a driver is. Pretend every piece of hardware, including your printer, your mouse, etc., speaks a different language.

So one speaks Spanish, another one speaks Russian, another one Cantonese, etc.

So when you plug in a new printer and turn it on, your PC says hi and the printer comes back in a foreign tongue the computer can’t make sense of.

So it needs an interpreter.

And when I say interpreter, I mean just like in the real world, just like when a foreign diplomat comes to the country but doesn’t know the local language. They need an interpreter to help them talk with the locals.

That, simply put, is what a driver is — an interpreter that helps your computer talk to a specific piece of equipment. And (generally speaking) you need a different interpreter for each piece of equipment that you connect to the computer.

Get it?

Now sometimes, the driver may be “preinstalled” on your computer (in other words, the computer already has the interpreter ready and waiting in case it’s needed) and in other cases, it needs to either be installed from a CD, or downloaded off the Internet, and then installed on the computer.

But in any case, the computer needs that driver before it can speak to the printer or whatever other type of device you may have hooked up to your computer.

I hope you now understand what a driver is.

Make Money Online Using an Autoresponder in Your Online Business

Make Money Online Using an Autoresponder in Your Online Business

There are many internet and affiliate marketers that are very successful in their businesses. They use all their resources and apply different types of techniques to increase cashflow. But there is something that separates these successful entrepreneurs from the average Joe marketer. That is the ability to use a autoresponder to increase sales.  The question becomes why is an autoresponder so important to a business? Unless you are available 24 hours a day, it is impossible to market to all your leads provided you are generating massive traffic.

You can convert your traffic to sales using a variety of different methods. You can setup pay-per-click ads, sell affiliate products, or pitch and promote your own product using an auto responder. Pay-per-click ads like Googles AdSense allow you to put their ads on your website so you get paid anytime a visitor clicks on one of those ads. The pay-per-click payout is usually fairly low amounting to just a few cents to a dollar per-click. But when you are getting over 1,000 visitors a day and converting 3% click through rates, the amount you make can become quite substantial.

Some of the most successful marketers are receiving in excess of one thousand hits per day to their site. Now if one hundred of those one thousand decide to opt-in you now have one hundred leads. Don’t you think sending autoresponders to one hundred people per day would be time consuming. And eventually as you grow you would be contacting thousands of possible leads with responsive e-mails. So the point is you need an autoresponder to deliver these messages.

Even if you don’t have your own product to sell and promote, you can still make money by signing up as an affiliate and promoting another persons product. Many affiliates pay upwards of 50% and even to 100% because they can still make money on the back ends of the sales you bring. Many of the good affiliate programs will make it easy for you to promote their stuff by providing tools and training. Paste banners and links all over your website so your visitors can click on them and hopefully purchase the product through your link.

The best way to make money on auto drive in my opinion is by creating your own info product and then selling the product on your website and through an auto responder. To do this you will need to create a series of emails providing useful information and selling your product at the same time. Once the visitor gives you their name and email for the information, your auto responder will automatically deliver those emails over a period of time and sell your product without you ever having to do more than just setting it up.

You need to know what the kind of success you are looking for looks like though. Is it a huge check from ClickBank? Massive PayPal deposits? A new house? Exotic Vacations? Find something that defines that success for you and visualize yourself holding it in your hand (maybe the keys rather than the house). Hold onto to that image each day as you work and set about to make that vision a reality.

How To Create Backup Copies Of Your Favorite Video Games

One of the most frustrating things that can happen to a game ris losing a favorite gme. If the disk is scratched or lost, you usually have to buy a new copy. This is expensive as well as frustrating. By creating copies of your favorite video games you can save a lot of money, and of course time. Learning how to copy games only takes a few quick and easy steps.

I know what your thinking; “Isn’t copying games illegal?” It’s only against the law if it’s for profit or distribution. Copywrite laws are in place to prevent people from making money off of someone else’s intellectual property. Copying software only hurts the manufacturer if you illegally sell the copies. You should note that if you only copy games for your personal use this is perfectly legal.

The bad thing is that most games have copyright protection that prevents gamers from copying the games using a simple burning software. The 40 bit encryption renders most copied games unplayable. This is why it does not work if you go ahead and simply copy your game using a regular CD/DVD burning software.

No need to give up! There is game copy software available that shows you exactly how to copy games and the software is easy to use. The website CopyThatGame provides software that bypasses copy protection. It can break the so called unbreakable protecion of any console and PC game. You can copy Xbox 360 Games, Ps3 Games, Wii games, and even Gameboy Games! The great thing is that it does not only copy any game with some mousclicks, you will also have no loss of quality. The copies are exactly identical to the originals. The software comes with videos that demonstrate exactly how to back up your video games, so you can get started without any difficulty.

Be advised that it is stupid to wait until your favorite game stopped working. It is unbelievably annoying to have to replace expensive disks, especially when you could just head on down to www.copythatgame.com. The software itself only takes about five minutes to download and install. It pays for itself in the money you won’t be spending on replacement games and is quick, easy and convenient.

Choosing the Best Video Editing Software

Video editing software selection can look a little daunting when you start to see the range of products available. However with a little help to remain focused on what is important you should be able to make a good choice.

One of the key points to keep in mind is:

“What is it that I am I REALLY going to do with the video editing software that I choose?”

The answer to that question has to remain uppermost in your mind when selecting the best video editing software for you.

All of the major home video editing software companies offer camcorder to DVD video editing solutions that make them almost inseparable from each other. So stick to what you REALLY need.

Video editing software makers are engaged in an ongoing race to track with new technology as it evolves and still make the product appeal to the customer. The point being you most likely do not WANT to purchase video editing software. What you probably WANT is a finished video.

The software company’s problem is they know you NEED video editing software but it’s not what you WANT! They have to make you WANT it! So because of that you see “bells and whistles” features that cause you to WANT IT but may never need.

Video File Formats

The first thing to establish is what is the format of the material you will be working with and what will be the formats that you will want to produce in the end. Input will be dictated by the camcorder or DVD recorder you use or what the origin of your files are. Take note of the format your device records in and make sure that one is covered first.

Then realistically work out how you would be most likely to distribute your final videos. DVD? Blu-Ray? Uploading to a video sharing site like YouTube or something similar? Be certain the video software you select can produce to the format you need.

So, your first task in deciding on what video editing software is suitable for you is to work out what your most common source video files will be and what your most common video output will be. That represents the core of what you will be using the software for and should be your main focus.

Video Transitions

Transitions are the little inserts that go in between two clips to make the scene change. When you watch a movie you can see that when a scene changes it often cuts to the next scene with no transition, this is called cut or a straight cut. It fades to black then fades into the next scene from black called a cross fade through black. And lastly the two scenes sort of dissolve into each other softly and this one is called a cross fade or dissolve. That’s it, the whole range of transitions you usually see in a professional production!

All video editing software programs offer at least 50 transitions each. Newbies cram in all the transitions they can because the effect looks so cool when they first see them. In reality no-one wants to return to their home ever again in case the new project is anything like the last one! Disregard transitions as a deciding point, every video editing software program has some and they all have more than you will need.

Video Overlay

An overlay track, simply put, is the ability to put one video in the background and have another visible on top of it. It is that “picture in picture” effect you have seen on TV and in movies. You can also put subtitles in an overlay track or still photos or a bunch of other things to really get creative. You need about five for good control but you would never use more than that otherwise, once again, no-one is going to want to watch the mess you have created!

Audio

There is no video editing software at the consumer level that offers truly excellent audio control and features. They are video editing programs not audio editing programs. Some offer reasonably good control and some do not, if you really want professional audio features you should have specialist software to do that.

The ability to handle Dolby 2 channel is a bare minimum and 5:1 Surround should be standard. There should be at least two extra audio tracks in addition to the sound in the video tracks. That allows lots of space for additional effects, narration or music.

Smart Render

Rendering is the term used when the video editing software is making the final file of your newly created video. Up until rendering, in any consumer level video editing software, all the cuts, additions, changes and adjustments you have been making are “virtual.” The original video files are never touched. So rendering puts all that together and produces your final video file in the format you have chosen as the viewing format.

Any of the highly compressed formats such as MPEG2 (for DVDs), MPEG4 etc invariably suffer from loss of quality when they are re-rendered. The amount of quality lost is variable but it is vital that the video editing software you select can identify files that don’t need to be re-rendered and just copy them to keep the highest quality possible. The software must also provide adequate manual control over the properties of the output video file.

Well that’s the basics covered so remember to keep your attention on the important stuff and try not to get pulled into the “bells and whistles” stuff and you should be able to make a good choice!
